DIN15049C-Crane Wheel with cylindrical roller bearings, various flange types.

The DIN15049C crane wheel features cylindrical roller bearings and comes in various flange types for diverse applications. It is drop-forged from C45 steel for wheels with diameters between 160 to 500 mm, and made from DIN GS-70 cast steel for 630 mm wheels. Both the running treads and wheel flange surfaces are hardened by heat treatment, with a hardening depth of 3–4 mm and a hardness rating of HRC 38–46. Options include a gear ring instead of a flange, double flange, single flange, or no flange for flat wheels.

Material

C45 drop forged for φ160~500mm, DIN GS-70 cast steel for φ630mm.

Wheel shaft: 42CrMo4 quenched and tempered, heat treatment hardened to HRC 56~59.

Running treads and wheel flange surfaces hardened by heat treatment, hardening depth 3–4 mm, HRC 38–46.
